The birth of the Christ-principle

‘Every year, at midnight on December 25th, the constel­lation of Virgo rises over the horizon (this is why Jesus is said to have been born of a virgin). On the opposite horizon can be seen Pisces, and in mid-heaven the magnificent constellation of Orion is visible, with the three brilliant stars of the ‘sword belt’ which, in popular tradition, represent the three kings or magi. Whether or not Jesus really was born on December 25th at midnight is not particularly important. What is important, however, is that this is the moment at which the Christ-principle, the light and warmth that is destined to transform all creatures, is born in nature, and that at this moment heaven itself is celebrating the festival of the nativity.
All the choirs of angels sing their joy, and all the saints, great Masters and initiates rejoice together, praying and giving glory to the Almighty, as the Christ is born in the universe…’

Noël, la naissance du principe christique

« Chaque année, le 25 décembre à minuit, la constellation de la Vierge monte à l’horizon, c’est pourquoi il est dit que Jésus est né d’une vierge. À l’opposé, apparaissent les Poissons, et au milieu du ciel on peut voir la magnifique constellation d’Orion avec, au centre, l’alignement des trois étoiles qui, d’après la tradition populaire, représentent les trois Rois mages. Peu importe donc la date exacte de la naissance de Jésus. Ce qui nous intéresse, c’est qu’à cette période de l’année a lieu dans la nature la naissance du principe christique.
Et cette fête se célèbre aussi dans le Ciel : les Anges chantent, et tous les saints, les grands Maîtres et les Initiés sont réunis pour prier, pour rendre gloire à l’Éternel et fêter la naissance du Christ qui naît réellement dans l’univers… Mais surtout, cette naissance est un événement mystique : le Christ doit naître dans chaque âme humaine comme principe de lumière et de chaleur, de sagesse et d’amour… »
